Asexual does not mean abstinance or celibacy, some Ace people may be abstinent or celibate, some may not.

Take the time to educate on what Asexuality and Asexual mean.

Asexual is a real orientation, Asexual people exist.
Some Demi and Gray people too may be abstinent or celibate and some may not. Both real orientations and part of the ace community.
Possibly TMI

If an Asexual person has sex it doesn't mean they are no longer asexual or that they are lying about being asexual. Asexual people can consent. How Asexual people feel about sex varies.

Consent and boundries are always important.
You can know your asexual without ever having sex. You never have to have sex if you don't want too.

If you find sex has helped you or helps you figure out your asexual that's ok too. Again, consent and boundries are really important.

It is ok to wait to have sex too.
Asexual people may have sex regularly, sometimes or never. They can have sex for many reasons.

Asexuality has to be included in sex education and it has to be talked about.

@Scarleteen have great resources for young people but we find they are great for everyone
You can know your Demi or Gray too without having sex, and it's ok if it helps you figure out your demi or gray or has helped. Again, consent and boundries!
Again it is ok to wait to have sex and if you never want to have sex that is ok too!
Asexuality is about attraction, not action
