We need to talk about what it’s going to take to keep our kids in school, not just get the year started and hope for the best. My community is about a month away from the start. I plan on:
-Getting flu vaccine
-drive them instead of bus
-use most accurate thermometer

-keep home at the slightest sniffle or symptom (no more ‘take Tylenol and on your way’)
-make sure they have multiple masks they like and will wear ALL DAY
-practice wearing them ALL DAY
-make sure they practice keeping their own area clean

-ALWAYS think of the considerable risk teachers/admin/custodians/nurses/bus drivers are placing themselves in to try and return our kids to a sense of normalcy and keep them growing.
Please add any good advice you may have to parents to prepare them for this difficult year.
