Creating an online course? Some recommendations based on my experience:
1. Only teach what you know.
When fleshing out the course content we feel the need to add content we don't know, just because we saw it another course. Don't fall for that trap!

2. Start with a short version of your course and get feedback ASAP
We brainstorm an 8-hour video course with all we know and start working on it. Instead, pick 1,5 hours of content, launch it, and get feedback. It will save you tons of hours of editing!

3. Content quality is 3X more important than a fancy video
Don't let your fears delay launching your course. The difference between a launch flop or great success is not on your video editing skills.

4. Focus your course on a topic you have strong expertise or authority
A topic you know well will help you in 2 important ways:
1. Allows you to build the course much faster
2. Makes selling the course a lot easier (Marketing Plan)

5. A high-quality online course does not replace your marketing plan
It's important that you maintain the enthusiasm from course creation into the launch phase. It's important to have a plan.
