There comes a time in every Irish persons life where they must rate Potatoes and I guess my time has come so:

Roast Potato - Wowwoow the Queen of Spuds, simply must be v crispy on the outside and fluffy heaven on the inside absolutely love 10/10
Potato Waffles- Well Birdseye Queen, you’ve done it again.
How are these SO good? Perfect done in the toaster with some ketchup and aromat which is bad for you but ultimately delicious
Mash- Actually very easy to get wrong somehow? Needs to have a lot of butter and seasoning and lumps can get the heck outta here
Something I only enjoy if it’s done PERFECTLY, in which case it’s delicious
Potato Salad- omg it is the perfect barbecue accompaniment, having it when it’s a bit warm? Just the best
Potato Dauphinoise- DIVINE DECADENCE
Actually way easier to make than you think and such a good and snazzy accompaniment to a roast, a lot of garlic is essential
Potato Wedges- We don’t see enough of them, what is the spice mix on there? I dunno but it’s DELICIOUS
Never order them from Domino’s Pizza they’re always underdone
Curry Chips- A Galway staple, J’Adore
I remember when @Djllewellyn came to Ireland and first saw a curry chip and looked disgusted and said ‘What’s wrong with them?!’
McDonalds Fries- ideally they should be so hot you should burn your fingers as you eat them
Apparently there was a scientific study done on why makes them so perfect, I haven’t read I just chose to believe it
They aren’t meant to be eaten one at a time
Baked Potato- I want to like them more than I do they just never live up to the hype
Hash Browns- Wow do these little golden angels ever make a breakfast more exciting
Potato Cake- they always seem a little too floury to me?
Potato Fondant- I have never had one! It makes me so excited that there’s a potato I’m yet to try
Crisps- The best brands are both Irish - Taytos and then Keoghs If you’re feeling fancy
Tayto from both sides of the border are delicious I have no time for crisp sectarianism
Hasselback Potatoes- I don’t think I’ve tried these either! They look great though
Patatas Bravas- Spanish Excellence
The sauce is often the making of them
Potato Croquettes- These feel so retro now but why? They are so good and I full support their comeback
Truffle and Parmesan Fries- The BEST fancy side to get at a restaurant, so swanky and so delicious
Curly Fries- These should be more widely available because they are BRILLIANT
The thrill of finding a really long one is a legal high
Waffle Fries- These are great little fellas
Scottish Potato Scones- Had these in Inverness for the first time and they are SO good with a fry, perfect consistency
Boiled Potatoes- They need to be baby potatoes ideally and freshly picked then covered in butter
Not my favourite but still a good spud
Oven Chips- I always feel like they’re a let down
Potato Latke- I’ve also never tried! They seem similar-ish to hash browns? They look DELICIOUS
Pommes Souffles- ANOTHER one I haven’t yet tried! These look like crunchy spud pillows which can only be a good thing
Chip Shop Chips- shoutout to the kinda soggy ones which are really delicious actually
Potato Hash - A potato you can have at breakfast is always a joy
Tater Tots- Are they just mini Potato Croquettes? Anyways I ate them when I was in America and they are a crispy delight
Potato Scallop- I’ve only heard of these apparently they’re very famous in Australia but also...Waterford?
I mean a battered potato I can’t imagine what’s not to like
