As a trans man who passes as cis, I feel safer walking around at night than I ever did when people thought I was a woman. I've also had the shit kicked out of me for being trans multiple times.

Privilege is far more complicated and fluid than people like to make out.
The internet's obsession with creating a neat pyramid of oppression and categorising people into different levels that never change or shift based on individual situations makes no sense and does EVERYONE a disservice.
Nuance is so incredibly important, and I wish people were better at accepting that.
And to those deliberately ignoring the nuance, of COURSE this thread isn't saying trans men don't struggle from systemic and individualised oppression. The world is complicated, and our conversations would do well to reflect that. Not recognising it does us all a disservice.
