As a trans man who passes as cis, I feel safer walking around at night than I ever did when people thought I was a woman. I& #39;ve also had the shit kicked out of me for being trans multiple times.

Privilege is far more complicated and fluid than people like to make out.
The internet& #39;s obsession with creating a neat pyramid of oppression and categorising people into different levels that never change or shift based on individual situations makes no sense and does EVERYONE a disservice.
Nuance is so incredibly important, and I wish people were better at accepting that.
And to those deliberately ignoring the nuance, of COURSE this thread isn& #39;t saying trans men don& #39;t struggle from systemic and individualised oppression. The world is complicated, and our conversations would do well to reflect that. Not recognising it does us all a disservice.
