so after a long night at like 7 am, my friend and I decided to go get charcoal from Symphony Market cause we were UP.

sleeping was not in our near future at all. (I know.. cracchead shxt)

when we get to the store, the clerk behind the counter checks and notices he’s out of charcoal and would have to go to the back to grab some more. he then starts sharing his concerns about leaving his store unattended and is like nahhh I can’t grab that for y’all.

although I think his concerns are bullshit, my homegirl and I plead that we’ll wait outside while he grabs it. he finally agrees after a few minutes and proceeds to escort us outside. as he’s doing so, a white man walks in.

he doesn’t say anything to him nor expresses that he needs to wait outside for a min. my homegirl and I looking at each other like what tf is that about but within the same second this clerk shut the door and LOCKED it behind us.
