Most of the problems facing us today in the U.S. stem from our under appreciation and funding for education. Why we aren& #39;t tackling the virus the way we should. Why poor neighborhoods stay poor and full of crime. Why so many people believe in conspiracy theories.
Why we don& #39;t do anything about climate change. Why we have so much injustice. All of this has some of it& #39;s problems going back to our education system. Is everything 100% on it, no but it is a huge part.
To the appreciation portion too, we have a culture in America that believes they should only have to learn what will get them a job/degree and don& #39;t care about the rest. The reason these things are taught is so the average person has a good understanding of the world around them
For the solution. I& #39;m not claiming here I know every in and out, but we need to find a way to get more Govt funding to public schools, especially in underprivileged areas that can& #39;t just get more taxes from the city itself for funding.
This is a complicated subject on how to fix problems in America but education is for sure a large piece of the puzzle. We need to look at this as we aren& #39;t just enriching a specific person& #39;s life but we would be even enriching your life by having a smarter populous around us.

I found it ironic this just came out the same day I post this thread. For my personal experience I learned a lot of this stuff but either in college or on my own.
