Re: McDavid not being personality-deficient. I& #39;ve interviewed him. He& #39;s quiet. Measured. That& #39;s his personality. However, he& #39;s also thoughtful and a good quote as we saw recently with the sideways glance verbal about the media. 1/6
Here& #39;s the problem: People look for perceived flaws for reasons behind various issues. Oilers lose? McDavid has no personality. I mean, people do that, but it& #39;s deflection. McDavid is not Mick Jagger, and Mick Jagger is not Connor McDavid. 2/6
Appreciate greatness or be a fool, your choice. And we do it the other way too, trying to make people more than they are. My Mom, who I adored and is in heaven right now, used to make wild claims about Elvis Presley. Drove me crazy. 3/6
It& #39;s how I discovered the library tracking down her embellishments. "Elvis a great singer and actor, he choregraphed "Jailhouse Rock" himself" she would say and off I& #39;d go to the library to find the name (Alex Romero) of the poor guy who did it. 4/6
Anyway, as my daughter says, let him live. McDavid is McDavid, Mick is Mick, You& #39;re you. Putting brilliant people down for things they are not is very weak and not the behaviour of an adult.

PS. I didn& #39;t need 6.
