🔸The hunt for the next Pukki🔸

With Pukki having a great start to last season who will be the next player that will get that early Premier League boost?

Should we be considering strikers that were promoted from the Championship at the beginning of the season?
Last season Pukki returned points in 4 of his first 5 games. He scored goals against Liverpool, Chelsea and Man City and a hat trick vs Newcastle.

The Pukki party was one that didn't last long but if you started the season with him you had a great stepping stone.
Pukki scored 11 goals all season, 6 of those were in the first 5 games!
55% of his goals in the Premier League this season!
Pukki was the Championship top scorer in the 2018/19 season with 29 goals in 43 games.
Norwich went up as league champions 🏆 that season.

Minutes: 3,810
⚽29 goals
🎯9 assists
Chances created: 63
Big chances missed: 19
Now that we've covered last season's main striker that came up from the Championship to the Premier League lets turn our attention to Leeds, West Brom, Fulham and Brentford's strikers!
Leeds- Patrick Bamford.
Minutes: 3,445
⚽16 Goals
🎯2 Assists
Chances created: 26
Big chances missed: 33
Bamford was involved in 18 of Leeds' 77 goals this season.
He's played in the Premier League before but has never been successful.
The number that sticks out for me is that he's missed 33 big chances. To put that into context Norwich only made 34 big chances this season!
I don't think Bamford will be the next 'Pukki' because of the amount of chances he missed last season.
West Brom haven't had a designated striker this season. Robson Kanu and Austin have shared the minutes up top. Both have scored 10 goals. From an fpl point of view we hate rotation 😂. Im giving both players a pass. Neither will be the next Pukki because of the lack of gametime.
The Championship playoffs are yet to be played but both Fulham and Brentford's strikers are in the hunt for the golden boot.
Mitrovic: ⚽ 26 goals
Watkins: ⚽ 25 goals
Fulham-Aleksander Mitrovic.

Minutes: 3,589
⚽26 Goals
🎯2 Assists
Chances created: 44
Big chances missed: 12
With Premier league experience Mitrovic has shown again that he's too good for the Championship. He's currently the Championship top scorer but he's out with a hamstring injury that could keep him out until the end of August. This could result in him being slightly unfit.
But as we saw last season Mitrovic can score. He netted 11 goals for Fulham. Im sure that he'll be even more prepared to show people that he should be playing in the Premier League each season.
From a striker that has been on our screens for a while to a new one in Ollie Watkins. He's never played in the Premier League but the 24 year old has been looking sharp for Thomas Franks team next season.
Brentford- Ollie Watkins
Minutes: 4,128
⚽25 Goals
🎯3 Assists
Chances created: 72
Big chances missed: 17
Watkins has created nearly 3 times more chances than Bamford this season. He's also much more clinical than Bamford. He fits great in Franks system in a front 3 with Benrahma and Mbeumo. He's contributed in 28 of the 79 goals.
If you had a choice which player would you bring into your team at the start of the season to try and catch the early Premier league boost?
