Matt Dumba discussing yesterday’s speech about racial injustice ahead of the NHL’s return in Edmonton. He said he was pretty nervous and had teammates Jonas Brodin and Alex Galchenyuk with him.

Dumba said his biggest regret is not kneeling for the Canadian national anthem as well. He said he will raise his fist for both anthems for the rest of the tournament.
Dumba said he got the strength and courage from his family and the Hockey Diversity Alliance.
Dumba said, “It’s been awesome to see hockey guys rallying around each other like this.”
Dumba said he got hugs from everyone when he got to #mnwild
practice after his speech. “That meant so much to me.”

Dumba also said he's consulted with J.T. Brown and hopes everyone's read Brown's recent article ( https://www.nhl.com/news/jt-brown-reflection-on-raising-fist-2017/c-317734028).
