Listen y’all know I’m always here to call out lesbophobia and have talked on multiple occasions how much I hate seeing confirmed lesbians in het ships but as much as I dislike it I can also acknowledge that any art/fic/etc. made BEFORE catra and adora were canon lesbians is not

Inherently lesbophobic at the time it was perfectly valid to headcanon them as pretty much anything yea fandom loved catradora but for all we knew they could have never gotten together or both ended up straight and while in retrospect it’s obvious that both of them never

Showed men any attention you can’t say that pre confirmation that other people couldn’t see themselves in it and headcanon them as whatever it only became problematic when they became canon lesbians and trust me seeing old work of them in her relationships makes me

But canceling someone over just that please you would need proof that it was inherently made with lesbophobic intentions or see those people continue to write/draw/support non lesbian headcanons after the confirmation ~ just my 2 cents

Also in regards the the specific situation I’ve seen recently personally I wouldn’t share unposted old artwork of them in het relationships now that they’re confirmed gay but I think that’s where the issue if any lies not the creation of the art but maybe the sharing
