Those who are extremely religious about clothing lack a sense of identity, personal style/fashion, and self-awareness.
Lack of Identity:
You don’t know who you are as a woman or daughter of the King. You find security in strict religious regulations because you don’t trust yourself to have freedom of expression. As a woman, you don’t know what makes you feel truly beautiful and feminine

You don’t know what clothes compliment your body type. You don’t know the colors that look best. You don’t even know what personal style means. You lack creativity. You don’t know how to enhance your natural beauty without overdoing it.

Self-awareness:
You aren’t honest with yourself about your insecurities. You don’t highlight what you do like about yourself. You trick yourself into thinking you don’t wear something for religious reasons when actually you lack confidence.

You over emphasize outward modesty because you are still struggle with inward purity... so wearing a cloak and mules are your security guards.

With the help of the creativity of Holy Spirit, you can figure out what clothes are cute, orderly, well arranged, towards God in awe/reverence AND mesh with your personality AND are connected with your purpose.
When you focus on the inward purity of the heart, the Holy Spirit will let you know how he wants you to present yourself and what is considered appropriate and inappropriate for YOU.
