I like this categorisation of the newly home-working into three groups:

Personally I'm a 2 ("neutral") but I share plenty of characteristics with the 3s (eager to return to office) and so can absolutely empathise with their stance.

As always, this stuff is a lot more nuanced than some suggest, and highly dependent on personal circumstances.
