How NOT to do it ❌

Not my best week on here.

But I know what went wrong.

There are lots of ‘what I did right’ THREADS.

I thought I’d do something a little different.

So I’ll tell you what NOT to do.👇

🙏 @CureIncome for the reminder on threads.
I Took my Foot off the Gas

As a brand new user I thought 1,000 followers was massive when I first started. It’s not.

I hit it last weekend. ✅

Lost a little hunger and drive after it.

1 week wasted.

Solution - Reset my Twitter Goals. 🥅
Lacked a Proper Plan

I didn’t take the time over the weekend like I normally do to properly plan my week.

I had a hectic week with one of my businesses so it swamped my time.

Didn’t plan properly for Twitter, so just did it when I ‘had time’.

Fail! 🤦‍♂️
Went away from what worked

I started to think that when I hit 1,000 followers that I needed to change what I was doing.

So I did. And it didn’t work. 👎

Why? It wasn’t my style.

I didn’t feel it.

Solution - Go back to what works. But better!
My Engagement Dropped

I was on Twitter this week, but I wasn’t really ‘on’.

I didn’t have a purpose like I’ve had in previous weeks.

I wasn’t ‘dialed in’.

Small blocks of time don’t work for me.

Solution - Put time aside, with no distractions. FOCUS.
Stopped Providing Value

It doesn’t matter how many followers you have. If you’re not providing value they’re not going to stick around.

I didn’t provide much value this week.

Sorry! 😐

Solution - Provide quality for people. Plus quote retweet more.
Lost my Personality

Not literally, but my account did. 😬

Because I was ‘going through the motions’ this week, I didn’t really enjoy myself.

It came out in my tweets.

I’ve loved being on here, enjoyment drives quality.

Solution - Have Fun! 😃
Hopefully this is a reminder that not every week is great.

Don’t give up.

If you liked the thread I’d love a retweet 🔁

To hear about more of my stuffs up and a few wins hit the follow.

I’ve got some cool stuff coming up. I promise. 😉
