Anyone fancy some Max Kilman propaganda?

Let's take a look at how good the youngster ACTUALLY is..

A LONG analysis thread (if you're bored)⬇️
Max Kilman played around 200 minutes of Premier League football this season.

When Boly was out injured, he nettted 90 minutes of football against the best team in England, Liverpool. He also picked up minutes against Sheffield United and Southampton.
Let's focus on Liverpool.
He lost the game 1-0. If you watched the game, you know that Wolves should have got something out of that game. (The referee was Anthony Taylor, by the way.)

However, Kilman dropped the best score of the back three that day, according to @WhoScored.
Let's dive into the stats a little more past the numbers of tackles and pass percentage.

Max Kilman has been nothing short of incredible during his Premier League minutes. As you can see from the graphs below, his defensive stability, and aerial disruptor style has been the key.
His futsal background, which no commentator will fail to mention if he plays, has provided him with a cool head on the ball and a knack for vision.

Coupled with his almost 6'4 frame, it allows him to be dominant in the air. He makes the perfect tall ball-playing centre-half.
I know what you're thinking. Joey, this is just 200 minutes of Premier League football. Just over two matches of match-time doesn't tell us anything.

So let's dive into Europa League, where he's had over double those minutes.
He kept clean sheets against Besiktas, Pyunik and Slovan Bratislava at home, whilst also playing the 90 against Espanyol & Bratislava away.

In all but Espanyol away, an outlier where the team conceded three goals (and he gave away a penalty), he dropped a 7/10 performance.
So once again, let's look a little deeper.

As you can see, Max Kilman has the opportunity to look up more, keep the ball and make a forward pass, and therefore his BR and AO is very high.

However, his defending is also fantastic. A 92 for defending quality is astronomical.
Infact, let's compare Kilman's numbers to that of some of the high-quality centre-backs still left in the tournament.

For example, Sevilla's Diego Carlos, and Leverkusen's Jonathan Tah.

As you can see, Kilman's AO and Defending Quality are all higher than both of these players.
But let's take it a step further, because why not?

Let's compare his numbers to that of some of Europe's elite, such as VVD and Maguire.

Unsurprisingly, he is the worst there overall. But not by much. Infact, he doesn't look out of place at all.
The crux of the situation is this.

Max Kilman needs more minutes to improve as a footballer.

Where is this going to come from? With Boly back, and Wolves rumoured to be in the market for a marquee centre-half, is the next step for Max Kilman a loan?

Where would you send him?
