So to answer this question we will refer to the Bible to find the right balance because going through the replies on this thread one can say the objection expressed by a lot Christians is not born from “hate” of thier Muslim brothers but because they want to “please GOd”
The truth is that food does not bring us closer to God neither does it take us far from him”But food does not bring us near to God;we are no worse if we do not eat, and no better if we do" (1 Corinthians 8:8) so it doesn’t matter the food we eat,our stand with God is not affected
Further more Paul admonishes to honor invitations and eat what ever people from other religions offers us “If some unbeliever invites you to a meal and you want to go, eat whatever is put before you without raising questions of conscience.” 1 Corinthians 10:27
But if he mentions that the food has been offered to idols,or if it is obvious to you that the food has been offered, graciously decline to eat it."But if any man say unto you,This is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it,and for conscience sake vs28
So if a Muslim brother/sister offers you food there is no need of worrying or looking for how to re-fry the meat with anointing oil

Beside a Christian prays before eating meals to thank the Lord and to sanctify the food."For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. (I Timothy 4:4,5)
Hence there is no fear of partaking of any kind of food, for God's name has already been invoked to bless and sanctify it.
In conclusion,Jesus said “What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them”Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body?
But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart,(and these defile them. For out of the heart come evil thoughts (Mathew 15:11,17-18)
It’s obvious we are all worried about the wrong thing because we have much bigger problems than rejection or accepting meat
