CW: Sexism and Ableism

Ironically I spent my whole life prentending not to be autistic to avoid bad treatment. (1)

This is why a lot of women (and autistics of other genders too) go undiagnosed for so long. We feel forced by society to behave in a ‘certain way’ so that people feel ‘comfortable around us’. Many have no idea of the emotional cost of us doing this everyday (2)

Also where is this “good treatment that autistic people famously get” ? I can assure you I haven’t got any pre or post diagnosis (3)
