New thread coming upđŸ§đŸ€Ą This time I will take a look at what works for me when playing FPL. There is plenty of different ways to attack the game. But this is my way of playing this beautiful game and rules to follow 👇👇👇

***My tips and tricks how to get better at FPL***
1. Watch a lot of games! Get a feel on what players are getting in the box a lot, creating chances, missing chances, having many crosses and looks most in form/out of form. I mostly only watch games I don't look at stats at all. Sometimes I of course stumble over a stat or two...
...but that's not my first priority when deciding to get a player in my team or not. Of course if you are not able to watch so many games stats is a good way to get a feel. But sometimes stats“lies”. You can see a stat of a player who have chances created or many shots on target..
...for example, but sometimes the chances created can be small and many shots from a long distance. I think I watch 6-8 games each gameweek (No surprise i don't have a girlfriend..😂)...
...Sometimes I watch games in reply if I haven't been able to watch interesting games and if there are players I want to scout for fantasy my team.
2. Get twitter.
You are already her. You gain a lot by following the right people. I mainly follow good FPL players, all the PL clubs and journalists closest to all the clubs in the Premier League to gain most valuable information. Early team news and injury leaks.
3.Motivation. This is a very important factor of the game others are forgetting about. What is the team's motivation to win the upcoming games? Does a player hunt a golden boot? Is a player a former player of the opposite team and is really motivated to perform against their...
...former club? Have they said something in the media that will indicate that they will have a good season or not? Example from 18/19 season: Ryan Fraser. Seemed really up for it from the start. Told the press he wanted to score more goals and have more assist than before and...
...this was something he was working with everyday with the coach. Another good example was the ongoing assist battle between Robertson and TAA in Liverpool. They had a “bet” who would get most assist during the season, they both had fantastic season ending with 12 and 13 assist!
4. The easy way is often the best way.
What seems the most obvious pick is often also the best pick. Don't overthink even though this can be hard when you have so many different opinions and people you follow. This is really important when it comes to choosing your captain.
5. Remember to dont stress if you get a bad start.

Just a good round or two can change your whole season! Stick to the plan and don't gamble on transfers and captains from early on!
6. Always check the fixture list.
This is very important. Even though a golden rule in FPL is that “form over fixture” often the combination is best. It's easier to meet Norwich at home (Sry Norwich fans) than Man City or Liverpool away. Often I look at 4-7 fixtures ahead.
7. Make yourself a spreadsheet
I always have a spreadsheet, but especially in busy periods of the season like Christmas and at the end of the season this could be a key factor to gain advantage of your opponents. This has worked really well for me and I will come back to how..
...I does it when time is there. Good planning is key and it's easier to avoid points deductions if you plan weeks ahead. But always remember things in FPL can also change very fast. Injuries and players out of form.
8. Be able to adapt.
If you have a player getting a injury or suspension don`t be angry. See it as a opportunity to gain advantage of your opponents rather than making dumb decisions. Things can change really quick in this game.
9. Team balance.
Try to make a team with a good balance in the squad. I think this is a good rule the best managers tends to follow. Even though now its a bit different with expensive and explosive defenders and cheap forwards delivering the goods...
..You can avoid hits by having a better balanced team.
10. Aggressiv playstyle.
I like to play an “aggressive” form of FPL. I'm not afraid of taking hits if I feel it's the right decision for the upcoming weeks. Also I have great success (Maybe luck?) on doing early transfers in the beginning of the season to gain team value...
...This is something that works for me, but other elite players does not have this playstyle.
11. Have fun!
The most important thing is that this is a game and should be fun. Sometimes you can forget that this is just a silly game. I also have rounds in the season where i can feel “tilted” and “unlucky” but like in poker for example that's just part of the game...
...You can't win every hand! And it is important that you don't make any bad decision when you have a low scoring gameweek. Patience is key! #FPL
