Ok #GameDev... gonna list my top most used tools for #GameDev and everything @pitchYaGame / @teamPYG.

⬇️ THREAD ⬇️
#1 Gifs = https://en.bandisoft.com/honeycam/

Honeycam in my eyes is one of the best gif creation tools out there, it has a tonne of functionality to help you create gifs that are still high quality at super low sizes inc. frame reduction.

I bought it for the filesize preview tool alone!
#3 Quick Art / Promo = https://www.canva.com/

Canvas is about ~£10 per month and it is one of my most used tools! Quick vector-based art tool that has a tonne of content and size presets built in for a plethora of sites including twitter, fb & more.

Insta-smart art creator.
#4 @twitter's card validator = https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator

This one is super important as it allows you to preview how any url will look before you post it to twitter.

Prevents cut-off and other issues "cropping" up.
#5 GSuite = https://gsuite.google.com/

I now literally live in Google Forms and Google Spreadsheet, with the shared drive facility for @pitchYaGame and @teamPYG.

Not to mention the sheer amount of storage space on the cloud you get for a very small cost per month, BONUS!
[6] Substack = https://substack.com/

My new favourite email system. Having recently been introduced to it by @colludia and @simoncarless!

Amazing tool, and one I'll be using for all email campaigns in the future. A real game changer for #GameDev.
[7] Discord = http://discordapp.com/

No surprise here, but if you create #GameDev communities with a real purpose (and in alot of respects with a demand) this is the perfect tool.

However it's also super easy for people to mute servers, so give them reasons to never want to!
[8] Wordpress + Elementor: https://elementor.com/ .

Thanks @acossidente for introducing me to this amazing tool!

Elementor allows you to design pretty much anything you want, and with the pro version you get some really smart widgets to bring your pages to life.
[10] Google Forms = https://www.google.co.uk/forms/about/

Need a survey? Feedback form? to setup an application process? Google Forms is a phenomenal tool and one part of GSuite.

The best part is you can feed the responses into a spreadsheet for further awesomeness, with a tonne of security.
[12] Everyone involved in @pitchYaGame are based all over the world yet we all manage to navigate timezones extremely well.

I've found it a tonne easier personally adding Alarms & Clocks; which allows me to add clocks for each person, so I have timezone updates at a glance :)
[13] Paint! No... seriously, while most of my art is now created in Canva... I still use Paint as its perfect for super quick cropping / art fixes / conversion etc...

If I need super vector level / photo level tools I use Paint Shop Pro 2020.
[14] Notepad. Most often used to dump clipboard stuff, and I keep forgetting about the full clipboard access tool, available.

Mostly ease of use / jotting notes / crafting content etc. Plus its super light weight so there's no load time etc.

Con: my desktop ends up flooded.
