The view is not only morally repugnant, it's contradictory. Most schools of thought that takes seriously respect for the individual also hold that we have moral obligations toward them that hold even if it costs us. Ie we should prevent them from dying.
Moreover, the idea that life lived in lockdown is not 'living' is horseshit. Yes, lockdown sucks. It's brutal and for some, genuinely harmful. But that's not to say it isn't living. Buried in here is a bunch of ableist, liberation grossness that's light on philosophy or ethics.
