The young cashier at the supermarket today was doing a great job, so I told him and I thanked him. He teared up and his hands started shaking and politely said "Thank you, I'm trying".
My concern is this.

What are you people doing to our young workers to have them on the brink of breaking down?!

Why are they still being mistreated and spoken to disrespectfully on a daily basis by rude customers and their demands?!
They too, are concerned about being exposed to COVID-19.

They too, are wearing masks and constantly sanitising.

They too, have family at home. Brothers, sisters, parents, grandparents.
Ironic that many demand respect yet very few give it back.

These workers are our future, they will not live the life you have had. They will not have the freedom you have had and took for ganted. A pre COVID-19 life will be a distant memory, if they remember at all.
They are not robots.

They are working tirelessly to meet your demands.

They are doing the best they can, and we should be too.
The customer is not always right.
