MERGING/CROSSING OVER 3 Iconic things ( and why i feel so strongly about it)
Here we see a collectible
The 3 main features of this spongebob figure is that:
•it is spongebob
•it is half dissected/skeleton
•it is in the style of 1920's cartoons
( eg. the style of eyes + greyscale colour scheme)
...imo? It's too much.
but why?

I strongly believe that when you mix THREE or MORE iconic elements into one piece of art/design, it loses some specialness in each iconic element chosen
It is still very much unique!
However, it feels like an overload to me.

An example of something i think very much works well: 2 iconic elements crossing over
Here we have:
• Frodo and Gandalf
in the style of
• Calvin and Hobbes
... and this makes sense ! Both iconic elements can be greatly appreciated and do not feel out of place

if i then made this fucking
calvin and hobbes + gandalf and frodo set in the FAMILY GUY UNIVERSE , it doesnt make sense anymore and really feels like a clusterfuuuck
