The rick and morty episode with the Meseeks hits harder than ever. I’ve been putting in my living room all through the night slate of NHL games. Taking 2 strokes off of Jerry’s golf game was funny to start. Now it’s an emotional investment and I find myself trapped in. Poor Jerry

IYRTITL was Drake’s best rap album (Take Care and NWTS are better albums but he never rapped harder than IYRTITL, and besides the meek beef he hasn’t rapped hard since lol)

BUT the dude sampled So Anxious by Ginuwine twice on that album for two completely different moods

First time is on Legend. Which is like, empowering as hell. The sample makes itself most obvious toward the end (meet me at 11:30, love it when you’re talking dirty)

Song to brighten the mood, great use of Ginuwine genius

2nd time he uses the song is on Madonna...

Madonna is an awful song. But you hear that same Ginuwine sample come through when he stops that weird robotic hook at the end. Sporadically uses So Anxious about the :45 second mark of the original track. Crazy how one sample creates two completely different moods for him.

Nice for What is like, the best song he’s ever made. Pop/R&B/rap all packed in (which is why his music will age so well)

That uses the Lauren Hill sample Ex Factor which is such a BEAUTIFUL track on its own. My god. The hook for NFW is built on this mark in the song:
