In case y’all don’t know how hard it is to manage chronic illness, today I tried to picked up an Rx. Went back to my car empty handed & in tears. I am a health law atty, law prof, understand the system, have insurance, and can afford the copay. It’s like this most months. 1/2

I had to go back in and advocate for myself before the pharmacy could get it squared away. Pharmacist was dismissive until I said that I was health lawyer. Would not have had the same outcome but for my status and education. This system is beyond repair. #healthcareforall now 2/2
