you don't know how scary and depressing is to live in venezuela. everyday you are afraid of someone close to you or yourself being tortured, sent to jail or killed for not following the goverment. everyday you see all your loved ones leave the country to have a better life
you don't know how it is to go to a supermarket and not see the things that used to be there years ago, you see empty spaces with heavily prices you can't afford. you don't know how it is to spend DAYS without electricity, water or gasoline
you don't know how it is to go in a hospital and see people laying in the floor, dying, because people inside the hospital don't have the medical resources to treat these people and either way, if they had, it would cost a fortune
my aunt is dying. she has metastasis, she came home days ago after spending one day in a hospital that cost us 2000$ (we had to sell our car to pay it) but it didn't matter because she's dying, and we don't have money to treat her and the hospital doesn't have the resources
i've spend days eating the same food everyday and with little portions to make it last, with no water (no clean water to drink or to shower), days without electricity, days without gas, i was in the hospital for being dehydrated too and i'm STILL one of the lucky ones
what's happening in venezuela ITS A THING. the govermeng is taking away everything from us since chávez (in 1998) took the power of presidency and now maduro is following his legacy. please speak up about what's happening. it's a nightmare to live here
my country is beautiful. we have so many beautiful things here, i'm so proud of being venezuelan, i love my culture and i love my people so much and it hurts everytime to see how we are suffering in the hands of a dictator. how we try to help each other bc no one else does it
maybe some of you would like to educate yourself: here's a thread i made with a carrd explaining everything and with donation links since petition dont work for this country !!!! https://twitter.com/louiscIaw/status/1287949206179794946?s=19
