during the interviews at the end of bv4 ep8 when the producers asked what is something you feel bad about and namjoon talked about how he doesn’t mean to make mistakes but he does etc. it really got me thinking about how the boys never belittle or put namjoon down for +
making mistakes, breaking things, being clumsy, etc. instead they call him cute, encourage him, help him. a lot of families & friends dont show that same love, compassion, & kindness when people in their lives make mistakes but rather they lash out & become emotionally abusive. +
that can be so damaging to one’s psyche—to be made to feel like you’re a burden, useless, talentless by the one’s you love. i have so much respect for how bts handle those moments w namjoon. they’re so patient & loving with him bc they know his mistakes are unintentional. and +
instead of finding those moments annoying, they find them endearing. they are consistently role models for how healthy relationships should look & function. I learn so much from watching them interact with each other. they are truly such incredible, inspiring people & I love them
