As a Tsukki fan, I think he is not someone who can be called a monster because that sort of clashes with everything he is and the way his backstory and breaking those walls worked till now.
Tsukki was introduced as someone who doesn't like to get passionate about vb. He offers this dissonance to the team which is very positive and like to push limits.
Then we get his backstory, he grew dispassionate about something he adored and he starts with a seemingly practical approach in trying to thwart any scope of what if he tried his best. He doesn't want to get hurt, try too hard and not succeed.
Because if you want to try be good at something your mind and heart have to be oriented to positivity and all elements of self doubt should disappear. Tsukki is not ready for that
But Bokuto kuroo tell him that there is a magical moment where all doubt should disappear. He gets that moment and yes it's just a point in 25. Even after the match is over, he beats himself up saying i said I'd stop few spikes but only managed to do this little.."it's lame"
You see he sets he has high standards. But the practical aspect of what stopped from Playing like he meant to comes in place and takes a turnover into practicality of read block and his capabilities over Hinata and Kageyama
Tsukki doesn't have endless stamina or energy to do things like them. Tbh it's the only wall between them. He is awesome! He's got big brains, can get into people's head. SUNA RINTARO played straight into his tactics
Also Tsukki is true to his initial motives. Him accepting passion and love for volleyball is the second aspect of development in the nationals.
He also seems the kind of guy who likes to mix up his hobbies and not become overtly absorbed into vb like Kagehina
I think he definitely wanted to do a job something he liked besides becoming pro in vb. So Tsukki is worthy of Div 1 status by the time we get this interview.
Honestly i just think it's a tad bit of difference in his approach to proffessional volleyball and his other career that sets him apart from Kagehina. So yeah monster title isn't necessary to describe him.
I'm not saying he isn't trying hard like them but he has his own view and how much of it he wants to take in.
This thread is insanely long but yeah i just had to let this out of my system.
I love Tsukki so much. It appears we can read him but he is layered.
