Linhardt and Annette are just two different presentations of adhd
Linhardt is inattentive with the tendency to hyperfocus on only his interests and has a typical horrible adhd sleeping schedule, meanwhile Annette is hyperactive, clumsy, and perfectionist
I’m kidding of course, there’s nothing beyond that that suggests they’d have adhd but their personalities are typical of ppl with adhd except they don’t have the struggles of adhd or anything
Linhardt never has trouble sticking to his obligations or focusing on his research when he wants to, but he also resists having obligations in the first place and freely admits that it’s possible he will just get bored of crest research and not do it anymore
I could be convinced linhardt has adhd since due to the circumstances of his life, adhd doesn’t exactly get in the way of his life. Everyone tries to call him lazy and say he’s wasting his potential but he doesn’t care. He has no concerns about money bc his family has money
Annette is less believable, but her clumsiness is typical of adhd. Her perfectionist nature is also typical of some presentations of adhd BUT it would mean adhd gets in the way of her life. Some ppl with adhd tend to be perfectionists because they fail so often and -
-wish to prevent failing again and disappointing others. Therefore Annette has more reason to struggle if she had adhd
Anyway I’m projecting because I’m mostly Linhardt except I’m perfectionist and clumsy like Annette
Or I guess I’m like Annette with Linhardt’s interest in research, tendency to hyperfocus, poor work ethic, and poor sleep. I guess that doesn’t make sense since annette is praised for having a good work ethic BUT I’ve been praised for having a good work ethic but I -
Work like Linhardt and any attempts at trying to become more Annette-like ends in failure and frustration but I’m still trying LOL
This is a really long pointless thread but basically, I’m like a Linhardt who tried really hard to have a better/ideal work ethic to meet the expectations of others and ended up becoming an emotionally unstable Annette end thread
