No one said Create Zim and Incorporate Zim must fix the economy hey. Well one guy didhttps://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😂" title="Gesicht mit FreudentrĂ€nen" aria-label="Emoji: Gesicht mit FreudentrĂ€nen"> but listen.
People are disappointed because they looked up to them. These organisations specifically deal with youth and mental health respectively, yet have nothing to say about the one thing the rest of the country is talking about that is relevant to both of them.
It makes it feel like what we’re going through doesn’t extend to them so is not worth addressing.
Both platforms have their purposes and processes yes. But the weight and relevance of the situation should demand that you find a way to adapt the issue at hand to your respective content styles.
Is protesting & getting arrested not part of “what Zimbabwean youth are doing”? Does the current pain people are in not warrant an acknowledgment of circumstance and some form of mental health advice/reminder? It actually would have been very simple but now look.
What hurts a bit more is that it wasn’t even oversight, it was “deliberate silence” even though Create Zim names “curing political apathy” as an objective.
I honestly was happy saying nothing about this but what actually pushed me is when someone said people are distracted/aren’t focusing on “the real enemy”.
Please don’t imply people are incapable of processing more than one subject at a time.

It’s insulting and it’s gaslighting.
Guarantee each person that called them out went on to do something completely different with their next 24 hours.
It feels like focus because the response is widespread. It’s not targeted, it’s collective. It’s a collective voice of disappointment, so hawu pamwe accept that you may have been wrong and you may need to apologise https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="đŸ€·đŸŸâ€â™€ïž" title="Achselzuckende Frau (durchschnittlich dunkler Hautton)" aria-label="Emoji: Achselzuckende Frau (durchschnittlich dunkler Hautton)">
