🔮 Tarot 101 🔮

Welcome back to our exploration of the classic Rider Waite Tarot Deck, today we are focusing on next card in the series: The Empress.

The Empress is also our namesake, and you’ll soon see why...
👸🏼 The Empress (3) 👸🏼

In the middle of this card we see a beautiful blonde woman. On her head she wears a crown of twelve stars emphasising her connection with the mystical realm and the cycles of nature.
Like the High Priestess pomegranates feature in this card, specifically on her robe, in this case representing fertility. Luxury is also represented here as she sits on a lavish arrangement of cushions.
On one cushion is the symbol of the planet Venus, symbolising love, creativity, fertility, beauty and grace.

She sits within a forest, signifying her connection with Mother Nature. Fields of wheat represent harvest and abundance.
We chose to use The Empress as our namesake due to her connection with nature, as our business is focused on plants and herbs 🔮 (click the link in our bio to see our Etsy store where we sell our witchy herbs)🔮
Due to the cards connection to Venus, this card is often associated with the signs Libra and Taurus.
👸🏼 The Empress in a Reading 👸🏼

If you find The Empress in a reading, know that a connection to feminine energy is being represented. The Empress calls on you to tap into your feminine side to aid the situation at hand. Connect with your senses.
The Empress represents a period of growth. What you are desiring is coming to fruition and the rewards will soon be ready to harvest. This card calls for you to be grateful for what you have created so that you can continue to attract more abundance.
