All 216 has Ex-Labour party, or words to that effect, either in their bio or in their name

When people are prepared to nail their colours to the mast - then that is worth standing in solidarity with them

Good afternoon fellow Twitters, and welcome to probably the longest thread that has ever been on Twitter, (sorry not sorry) bear with me!

I hope that you all had a brilliant Socialist Sunday, and increased the number of people you follow, and I hope everyone on the list

Yesterday was just the beginning of what we can achieve when we come together in numbers
So where do we go next, hopefully we organise, come together, & take action

It has now been 12 weeks since I attempted

to bring people together under the Banner of the ‘Labour Resistance Movement’

After a 4-week survey, to ascertain how many would be interested in getting involved if I were to set up such an Organisation

Just over 50 people was interested, and for me that was sufficient

to proceed, at the time of its launch, I really expected to be inundated, well that was the expectation, in reality only 2 people were interested

I had no intention of flogging a dead horse (No horse actually died in the process) and I had already put in a significant

amount of work into making it happen, to say I was disappointed would be an understatement

In the meantime Starmer has been in office over 100 days and no other organisation has made any attempt to rattle his cage, apart from good old Len McCluskey, who not only took his

time about it, but did not go far enough

Well, anyone who really knows me outside Twitter Land, knows I never give up,

“The only person who really fails, is the person who chooses not to give it one more try”

So here goes:

If there is anyone out there in Twitter land who Believes:
1: That before we can get rid of the Blue Tories, we need to get rid of the Red Tories out of the Labour Party once and for all, by any (legal-ish) way possible

I do not give a shit about anything else you may want

from a truly Socialist Party, if you are re-main or a brexiteer, or anything else that divides us, put these things to one side and we can discuss them later in a comradely manner once we have a good foundation to stand on

All that is needed is to believe and want

Why?

a: The aim is to keep it going indefinitely
(Providing Twitter does not censor us)

2: Too many people RETWEET rather than COPY ‘N’ PASTE,
a: Twitter algorithms do not count, Likes, & RTs, it only counts Tweets.

3: People comment on a Tweet without using the HASHTAG
a: Again, Twitter algorithms do not count comments, it counts how many times the hashtag is used

4: People give up too soon and it dies

5: People do not know what to Tweet
a: What you Tweet is irrelevant, so long as

6: People spend too much time arguing with the morons that come out of the woodwork whenever a hashtag begins to trend
a: Do not engage the troll, their aim is to distract you from Tweeting,

Why do a Twitter Storm?
Because the scatter gun approach will never work, 1000s of Twitters doing their own

thing has no effect, they are a minor irritation to the recipient, who I would guess never read them. Once they have said their piece, they ignore the comments, or let their office workers deal with the fallout
A long-lasting Twitter Storm will eventually get noticed, and

there is nothing stopping anyone from multi-tasking and still being a minor irritation
