I didn't think I'd ever do this, but I need to vent frustration. I honestly can’t stand the VS community anymore. It might just be NA, but more and more everything is dominated by children, toxic people who’re actively trying to make the experience worse for others,

and people who can’t read social cues in the slightest and continue trolling or joking
around when people are obviously pissed off. Everyone wholesome is either inactive, quiet, or just being drowned out by the mass amounts of negativity.

It’s a drain just being around the huge amount of people that make the community terrible. You’re either “a fucking S/A rank noob who doesn’t know what they’re doing”, “a toxic asshole who doesn’t wait”, or someone who cares so much about their rank that they’re going to trash

every single person who doesn’t agree with them or misplays in the slightest, and only actually gets along with people at their rank or above that they respect for pure gameplay. I fully understand being competitive, but this has gone way, way beyond that. It’s a fucking game.

You’re supposed to be part of a community. That involves interacting with other people, making friendships, and supposedly sharing the game we all enjoy. Right now, it involves calling out other people for not playing the game the way you want it to be played, creating factions

and rifts between people, and driving away anyone who might be interested in joining. If this community is ever going to thrive, we ALL need to get our shit together, because this is awful.
