Everyday, I am grateful for our massive win in the Midterms in 2018.

✅It didn’t happen by hope alone—it was work.
✅There was voter suppression.
✅The GOP cheated, lied, & fear mongered (the caravan).
✅We weren’t supposed to flip red districts—They were a longshot—but we did.
✅Doug Jones wasn’t supposed to win his special election, but he did. People showed up.
✅Impeachment was supposed to rip us apart—but we were already ripped. We’re still here.
✅The wheels of justice are still working—cases are being won. The courts are still upholding.
✅Our collective efforts have deterred some extremism.
✅Bitches who were anti-mask changed their tune.
✅The military put a check on tyrannical instincts.
✅MILLIONS are willing to flood the streets.
✅If we go off of what we see, it’s pretty easy to give up and despair.
✅The alternative is the scariest thing in the world to adversaries—resilience and an unwavering intention to uphold democracy.
✅If our votes didn’t matter, they wouldn’t be working so hard to stop us.
✅If you didn’t have hope, why’d you vote in the midterms?
✅If you didn’t have hope, would you care about November?
✅The fact that you do care about November is reason you shouldn’t take no for an answer when it comes to this democracy.

Onward. We have an election to win.
