Red rising book 1 discussion thread I need to rant so bye
Ok so first off I'm rating this 4.5 okay? I really like it but I'll tell you what I didn't like as well
- the info dump. It took a long time to get used to the langauge of grav Boots and slingBlades and everything of that sort and the houses too. By the end I was convinced Jackal was from House Jupiter and when Darrow says Pluto I was like um what? 
- this book gave me serious whiplash. It suddenly zooms out from the picture and I'm left reeling. Also it was never a game, not even in the beginning. You literally had to kill a person to enter, so all this talk abt "oh I can't kill someone in cold blood" talk confused me
Like bro, you just killed 5 ppl yesterday and now you're trying to act honorable and modest again. I was just confused and boy did this book give me some trust issues lmaoooo fr by the end I wasn't convinced Mustang didn't really betray Darrow
Also I'm guilty of feeling like the book was a bit too long even if it's so easy to read But the plot was INSANE and I LOVED IT. Ok now if you haven't blocked me after reading this I'll continue to talk abt the good parts aka ALL PARTS AKA THE WHOLE BOOK
BRO DARROW FUCK I LOVE HIM SO MUCH you know what I really love abt this book? I love the fact that Darrow NEVER EVER forgot that he was a Red that is honestly so admirable and so rare and amazing I can't

The plot is insaaaneeeee it's so good and the ENDING OMG THE ENDING WHEN THEY STORM OLYMPUS FUCK MF IT WAS GOOD and Pierce Brown laid the foundation for Book 2 so well like I REALLY want to know what happens next
