so heres a thread on how non-middle easterns are cultural appropriating our culture

first of all theres henna, now henna isnt just middle eastern but also indian, and in both cultures theyre pretty much used the same way (in weddings, religious ceremonies...)

wearing henna bc u “like the aesthetic of it” is very gross and so is “henna freckles”

now theres the headscarf, ofc this is more of a muslim issue but if ure a non muslim wearing it for fashion or bc u think it looks good, ure cultural appropriating, some muslims cant even wear their hijab at school or at work, and they get called “terrorist” for it but u wanna

wear it bc u like how it looks?? i have alot of muslim friends that have been given dirty looks bc they wear a hijab and alot of people start telling them terrorist jokes thinking that they will laugh but its not fucking funny its just islamophobic and disrespectful

also stop wearing our cultural clothes as ur halloween costume you dont even look good in it anyways
