Staggering historical revisionism at play. According to his sources:

1) None say Maronites "expelled" Jews, rather Jews decided to leave after increasing tensions/anti-Semitic sentiment.
2) It doesn't say the 80 families mentioned left during 1860-1864. https://twitter.com/w5ssim/status/1289379851057520641?s=19
3) 10k Christians were slaughtered, how did they find time to "expell" their neighbors?

By far, the most libelous, unbacked claim made in this thread:

4) "Pogroms" are defined as massacres. Maronites never massacred local Jews. https://twitter.com/w5ssim/status/1289384654915563520?s=19
There were no pogroms of Mount Lebanon, and no official anti-Semitic policy. Rather, there were anti-Semitic individuals.

The use of the term pogrom is especially inflammatory, inaccurate, and not borne out of any contemporaneous evidence.
While it is obvious that Twitter users have agendas with certain sects, a problem arises when users attempt to distort history/valid sources for their own agendas. Make good faith arguments. Portray history accurately. Represent the sources as they're written. Do better!
