So @aceofhearts released a new song and I love the lyrics video, so this is just a thread about Silver Lining.

First chorus, the "Darling" has a heart. At the end of the same chorus we see the first time the letters are shaky, 'cause it's all downhill from here.

The second verse begins with the lyrics "steps I never took" poorly written, he rapidly covers this mistake. Maybe a reflection of himself and/or the relationship, he tried to ignore the red flags and the flaws.

The lyrics say "Were signing off with all OUR favorite words", so I really like this detail: he puts "YOUR" before "favorite words" and then cross outs the "Y". A way to reflect the selfishness of his "darling" or maybe that he cared more about what she wanted.
