hi again, someone came forward regarding the ‘god jihyo’ joke because jihyo likes chanting god jihyo with fans during concerts and meet ups, which is totally okay of course! i never meant to dismiss that. i mentioned it in her section regarding the weird jokes +
some people in the fandom make about the nickname. like needing ‘god j*hyo’ when they thinking about something nsfw which is super super weird. i’m sorry for any confusion
same with any other jokes that might be harmless to you or that the members like to say. they become a problem when you’re making them the members’ entire personality. it’s not problematic or bad if you say it but to only call tzuyu yoda for example is just downright annoying.

but if you’re not using these jokes like a ketchup once of course it’s nothing bad. ofc you can do the godjihyo chant with jihyo, ofc you can call tzu yoda or chaeyoung tiger or whatever.

oh i’d also like to add i’ve made this thread with oomfs’ suggestions about fandom jokes they think should stop/are problematic. this is not only my personal opinion but so many others’ as well.
