Normalize not saying "The media isn't covering _____" until you've done a thorough search of what if any coverage exists about the topic. Chances are someone somewhere covered it, it's just not on the feed that *you* curated.

I promise you I'm more critical of "the media" than you are. But uninformed shitposting elevates nothing.

What's more effective? Screaming to the void about the issue? Or finding whatever coverage exists and sharing it? And if the coverage doesn't exist, reach out to a reporter on Twitter or email with facts and evidence. Help them do their job better.
