SEX: Biologically defined and assigned at birth

•Hormones
•Internal and reproductive organs
•Physical appearances
•Generally thought of as male, female or intersex (with immense diversity)
•Does not always match *GENDER*

GENDER: Culturally defined

•How you view yourself and your identity
•Can be expressed through gender-expression (clothing, hairstyle, self-expression, etc.)

GENDER IDENTITY: How you feel/interpret your own identity (man, woman, genderqueer, etc.)

GENDER EXPRESSION: How you express that identity (masculine, gender-neutral, feminine, etc.)

BIOLOGICAL SEX: Assigned at birth (factors like chromosomes and organs)
