How to Stand against the Corruption of the
Ontario Student Trustees Association:

Students:
- Do not run for the position of Student Trustee, there are many leadership opportunities available with which you can use to change the system
- If you do become a Student Trustee do not engage with or in the Ontario Student Trustees Association

- Do not run for positions on the Executive Council, do not run for positions as a co-chair, do not run for positions as a media design coordinator, do not run for President
- If by any fate of bad luck you do in fact become a part of the Ontario Student Trustees Association, do not take even a sliver of their discrimination, their bigotry, their "policies" stand up to every single person, stand up to the Board of Directors, stand up to the lawyers
- They have no power against you, you are a student and the entire reason for it's existence. You have the upperhand.

It's your world, they are just living in it.
Other students:
- Do not share any social media posts of the Ontario Student Trustees Association
- Do not participate in any advocacy campaigns of the Ontario Student Trustees Assocaition
- Do not read Press Statements by the Ontario Student Trustees Association
- Do not share information with your friends about the Ontario Student Trustees Association
- Do not look to the Ontario Student Trustees Association as a leader in student advocacy
- Find other student leaders, find other student groups, find other student organizations to look to for direction on student leadership
- Create your own leadership groups about education advocacy, step up and be leaders in your own right
- The Ontario Student Trustees Association is a relic of white confederation, and you know what we do to them, we tear them down.
Student Advocacy Groups:
- The Ontario Student Trustees Association has no ability to lead and represent the voice of students, so each of you need to step up
- Set up meetings with Government Officials, with the Ministry of Education, with other student leadership groups
- Gather data about challenges students face and bring that to meetings with officials
- Unite with students from across the Province and Canada to advocate for a better system of Education, the burden has now fallen to you
Parents:
- Do not send and of your children to meetings and conferences of the Ontario Student Trustees Association
- Especially parents of racialized students, do not send your kid to any activity organized by the Ontario Student Trustees Association
- Your Kids are brilliant and intelligent and they have many different avenues of being able to advocate for students, including on City Youth Councils, Specialized Youth Organizations, and National Student Programs
- Racial slurs, sexual assault, bullying, they are ubiquitous in the Ontario Student Trustees Association especially towards racialized and Indigenous students, and females
- It is a hotbed of deplorableness and your kids deserve better
Organizations in Education, Media, and Advocacy:
- Do not organize any meetings with the Ontario Student Trustees Association
- Do not agree to be part of any meetings with the Ontario Student Trustees Association
- Do not develop advocacy plans and share them with the Ontario Student Trustees Association
- Do not develop joint advocacy plans with the Ontario Student Trustees Association
- Do not share your work with the Ontario Student Trustees Association for them to promote
- Do not accept work from the Ontario Student Trustees Association which they would like you to promote
- Do not maintain any partnerships with the Ontario Student Trustees Association
- Do not interview or ask for the Ontario Student Trustees Association for student perspectives
- No matter how short or long your organization, or you personally have worked with the Ontario Student Trustees Association, do not continue to work with the Ontario Student Trustees Association
- You cannot be complicit in corruption, unless you are willing to collude with it
School Boards:
- Do not send your Student Trustees to conferences and meetings of the Ontario Student Trustees Association
- Do not purchase a School Board Membership of the Ontario Student Trustees Association
- Do not spend thousands of tax payer dollars to fund corruption
Educators:
- Do not engage your students with ongoing projects or reports from the Ontario Student Trustees Association
- Do not display news interviews or resources developed by the Ontario Student Trustees Association
- Do not share work of the Ontario Student Trustees Association with colleagues, staff, your spouse, or your own children
- Do not direct your students to look to the Ontario Student Trustees Association as a representative voice for students
Public:
- Do not ignore the veracity and the depth of deplorableness within the Ontario Student Trustees Association
- After twenty years the truth is now prevailing over the misinformation, the lies, and the deception, and it is your job to act on that truth.
