a prescription that i need to function normally is $527 for 12 pills now that i’m
uninsured

another one for just 6 doses is $2,060 LOL
another prescription that is just ONE DOSE PER MONTH is now going for the low cost of $927.... let’s all laugh together at the fact that people think universal health insurance is a terrible idea.
thankfully nothing i have is life threatening, but it is life altering and completely interrupts my ability to function normally.
i lost my job bc of a global pandemic and have yet to receive a dollar from unemployment, haven’t gotten approved for medicaid, and simply cannot afford COBRA.(who can?) how does this system make sense? employers have no business controlling access to affordable healthcare.
i’d like to present what the monthly total would be for 3 medications to close out this thread:
$3,514
for one month.
just 30 days.
nbd.
