This is my other son & his dad. Several times a week conditioning athletes in the community- for free - because he wants them to have the same opportunities he has had. Teaches them how to train, care for their bodies, out of the goodness of his heart. #LeadLAP

I am going to flood this thread by celebrating the of my beautiful black husband and sons. We have to celebrate our stories. We have to change the stereotyped narrative. Even though I celebrate, they (we) still must live by a different set of rules in order to survive.

Parents have asked my oldest son to be a mentor to their sons because they see him making a difference in the world. On prom day, he stopped to spend some time with one of them.
