Okay, I finished the thread, now I can add my micro tip:

Pomodoros are FUCKING AWESOME, but i found that the base times? 25-5? Work TERRIBLY for me. I neither get to feel like I& #39;m at my most productive or feel like I& #39;ve had a real chance to disengage and reset properly. https://twitter.com/mspowahs/status/1288496747438845953">https://twitter.com/mspowahs/...
The trick is simple: Find your own sprint sizes. The built in sizes fit nice neat calendar friendly boxes, but if that makes them a pain, adjust them.
I landed on two ranges: working sections of 30-40 minutes.

Work times mostly are based on my interest. I don& #39;t like breaking good flow, so will push the work timer out if I feel like my work periods are breaking in the middle of something often.
My breaks are between 10 and 20 minutes for short breaks.

10 minutes because it takes my brain more than 5 minutes to feel like it got it& #39;s breath. The high end is because sometimes I& #39;m tired enough to need it.
The goal is that the short breaks don& #39;t have you drop the task out of your head for something else, but you also actually disengaged long enough to catch your breath. You know, to avoid the "I just worked for 8 hours and didn& #39;t eat or drink anything."
