It’s been a strange old week with the Governments plans to tackle obesity being published and I know like a lot of you it has stirred up a huge range of emotion, fear, sadness, anger ... frustration ... and caused lots of heated discussions!

How would calories on our menus impact our future generations? Would kids start to question what they are having? From my work in schools I have had numerous conversations with children from aged 7 upwards who ask me if they should stop eating something because a parent doesn’t
t have it? Imagine if kids got in their heads they couldn’t have something because of the calorific content?!
