what i find funny is that some ppl want the unemployment cut cause they want ppl to go back to work. but who wants to go back to making minimum ($8-$12hr) when you can make double that with the unemployment!

the only people that’s really complaining is republicans and some workers cause they aren’t making that as much. i work but i don’t want them to cut the unemployment just cause people are making more money than i am. $600 a week is decent...

but it’s still not enough to take care of families and pay bills. then some of these companies aren’t paying their workers enough when they’re putting their life on the line everyday. these companies still weren’t paying enough before the pandemic

so why would people want to go out & work during a pandemic & still get paid the same, when unemployment is giving a decent amount of money every week? i really don’t see a problem other than increase the wage to a LIVABLE wage. capitalism have y’all head gone

lets not forget that businesses were shutting down and still shutting down so people are losing their jobs and probably can’t find another one. so yes it’s essential to keep the unemployment cause some people just can’t find jobs! or a job like they had before

i don’t understand why people in power and some citizens want people to struggle. like y’all want more homeless people, y’all want people evicted, y’all want people to starve like i don’t get it. what’s so hard/bad about providing aid to people that need it

this is why America is the laughingstock of the world rn cause people are so ignorant, greedy, and racist. people can’t simply wear masks, they want school back open, can’t treat their citizens equally, etc. this country is a joke
