I cannot stress enough how silly you look when you say “trans people are only like 1% of the population so we shouldn’t cater to a tiny minority”.

That’s 666,500 people in the UK.
I swear to god, y’all act like there are 100 trans people in the UK tops.
For visual reference, here’s overhead shots of a protest that had about 700,000 people in attendance. You can’t even fathom how many people that is.
If all the trans people in the UK established their own city it would be the sixth most populated city, beating every city in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
Now for the USA.

1% of the population is 3,282,000 people. Over three million people.
Here are aerial shots of about one million people marching in Chile.
Now, imagine over three times that.
If all the trans people in the US established a city it would be the third largest city in the whole of the US, only behind New York and Los Angeles.
If we were to look at the world as a whole, that’s 75,940,000 people.

Obviously I can’t give you a visual for that but if every trans person in the world established their own country it would be the 20th biggest country in the world.
That’s bigger than the UK, France, Italy, Spain.

Twice the population of Canada, over three times the population of Australia, over seven times the population of Sweden.
Since this thread is circulating a little, this is just an interesting thought experiment and a way to visualise scale, not a suggestion.

We have a word for people establishing cities and countries on lands that are already occupied.
