players are raising lots of legitimate concerns, and they’re being met with “sit in the back of class” and “it’s not fair to athletes”

the quote from Sankey angers me the most because this “environment” that the players have to deal with is ENTIRELY PREVENTABLE

It’s abundantly clear that this season is being played for financial reasons, and the powers that be have already accepted that athletes will be put in unsafe situations from the start

If this season continues as planned, some players will suffer serious complications that stem from this virus, and some players might even die

I want college football this season, I really do. But it’s unacceptable to make athletes play in these conditions. The NCAA, conferences, schools and coaches need to be held accountable
