Taylor's statement about Folklore when she released it. She says she's telling a story of someone. That someone being an exiled "man", "a 17 year old", "his fallen objection".. all male pronounces and addresses!

Now who is William Bowery?

Imo, it's Zayn. I could be wrong. I know there are theories out there saying it's Harry or Joe, but my guts say it's Z because of a few facts I'm going to list.

Now, I think Folklore is a Zarry story which Taylor wrote with support of Z. Why? Let's analyze different songs in Folklore.

Illicit Affairs - Folklore

What does Illicit Affair mean? Illicit means.. banned by law. That is banned in the eyes of the society.

Who is Betty, Inez and James?

Tay and William Bowery took the name Betty based on Friends series theme. If you've listened to Betty, you'll possibly know the theme. James cheats on Betty and Inez tells her of this.
