I watched Black is King. I need to sit with it more before I say much else (because the impulse to *immediately* CAPTURE and DECODE and ANALYZE for likes and fame is....Eep.)
I will say, I have always been fascinated by Beyoncé’s creative process. She used to do aggressive press A LOT. and now she doesn’t. I’m convinced that having a LOT of wealth and social support will allow you to work on your own schedule.
I watched the production credits on purpose. She has a lot of people working for and with her. We do *not* have the same 24 hours.

After watching, my hopes and dreams for myself are a lot more clear.
I want to live in a way and in a world where I don’t have to announce things as I’m doing them. The world don’t need to know everything. I don’t have to perform booked-and-busyness. I can keep some cards close. I don’t need to narrate the process at every step.
And truth be told, a lot of people lie LMAO
When dinner is ready, I’ll call. But until then, unless you chopping celery with me, you are lovingly invited to mind your business.

We get to move at a pace that is comfy for us. We get to share life updates when we feel like it.

That’s the kind of thing I want for me.
So much has changed for me in the last few months. Some of it wondrous and magically magnficient, others heartbreaking and sad.

And. I’ll talk about it when I want and to whom I want.

I don’t owe nobody nothing. 💋
